Rev. Elder Troy D. Perry holds worship in his home and MCC is born

August 28, 1994

Prayer vigil in the home of Bob Horton

September 24, 1994

First service held in the home of Bob Horton – the Parish House

November 1994

Church building at 2315 Huff Street purchased.  $25,000 down payment raised within a week!

December 18, 1994

First service at new church. Sixty people in attendance.

January 1, 1995

First board of directors elected.  Rev. Jack McConnell is the first pastor.

March 1996-1997

Rev. Bob Darst elected as interim pastor.

January 1999

Rev. Ken Hull becomes first full-time pastor

June 1999

MCC-WS becomes a commissioned church

September 1999

Rev. Elder Troy D. Perry helps to celebrate MCCWS’s 5th anniversary

September 2001

Praise and Worship Team formed

March 2005-2007

Rev. Mark Byrd becomes pastor
